I’m a recent Computer Science graduate looking to apply my skills and knowledge for a worthwhile endeavor. I’ve done a lot of work with opencv and computer vision, and am passionate about creating projects that blend software with the real world.

Wildfire Simulation Project

Built an interactive wildfire sandbox for my senior capstone using RealSense for terrain mapping, YOLOv8 for object detection, and a real-time fire spread model responsive to user-shaped landscapes.

Computer Vision Chess Trainer

♙ Developed a two-stage computer vision system that first detects chessboards in images, then identifies individual pieces using YOLOv5, converts positions to chess notation, and integrates with Stockfish for real-time move analysis and suggestions."

Step 1: Takes in visual input of the board

Step 2: Identify & Classify the board, all pieces, and their locations

Step 3: Encode all pieces and locations for all the pieces and query stockfish for best move

Step 4: Outputs the trainer's suggestion for that board configuration
